To register a Wiki.wiki account, a chosen username, valid email address and password are required. We also request personal information in the form of a biography, which serves as the initial content for your user page. The biographical information you choose to provide may be made public. Any content you add or any change that you make to any page within the Site will be publicly and permanently available.

Wiki.Wiki may also send one or more "cookies," or small piece of data which are stored in your web browser to help the Service operate with full functionality, such as keeping you logged in. Many browsers allow you to disable cookies, which will not prevent you from using the Service. However, some of the Service’s features may not function properly if cookies are disabled. Wiki.Wiki may use some of the data tracked by cookies in conjunction with advertisers. Wiki.Wiki has no control over the cookies and other information collected by advertisers in connection with their services. This policy does not apply to the information collected in regard to those services.

Wiki.Wiki's user data is stored in the United States, and its servers log information such as your IP address, when you visit the Service, your browser type and its language setting.

If you send a communication to the Company, we may retain that communication in order to respond appropriately, to use as feedback for improving the Service, or for future reference.

You are not required to register an account or to provide personal information in order to browse content hosted by the Service.

Wiki.Wiki collects the information you provide when you create or modify content, such as by editing pages or uploading files. All edits made to Service pages are recorded, and each page has an edit history reflecting any changes made. "Recent changes" pages also display edits made to wikis.

The Service works with third parties such as advertising and analysis companies, who use cookies to collect non-personally identifiable information ("Non-PII") when you visit our Site and third party sites. Non-PII may be used by these third party advertisers. If you want to prevent a third-party advertiser from collecting data, you may either opt out from advertisers' websites individually and/or visit the following Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) gateway opt-out site: http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp.

Wiki.Wiki only shares your information with others in the following circumstances:

  • as described above
  • with our affiliated companies, contractors and vendors, who are required to process your information in compliance with this policy
  • as required by law enforcement agencies
  • as we deem necessary to investigate a security breach, any potentially harmful or illegal activity, and/or any violation of our Terms of Use

We may also share with third parties non-personal information such as the number of new registrations during a specific time period or the number of users who edited a particular page or group of pages.

We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy from time to time, in the following manner. We will post the changes and provide email notice to all registered users, at least ten days in advance of the effective date of such changes. Your continued use of the Site, after the effective date of such changes, constitutes your acceptance of the amended Privacy Policy.
